How to participate

You can sign up for FarGen in two ways:

Vangin

Log in to Vangin and find FarGen. For this, you are required to have Samleikin. The first step is to read the information material about FarGen 2, which are requirements to participate in the project. Then you fill out a questionnaire about, among other things, your background, lifestyle and health. Since then you can book an appointment to give blood test etc. on kanning.fargen.fo.

When you show up to give a blood test, you must submit a declaration of consent. With your signature, you confirm that you have received information about your participation and what it means. You will receive the declaration of consent on the spot.

The website

Read the information material about FarGen 2 (in Faroese) so you know what the project is about. Fill in the FarGen questionnaire (in Faroese) and print it. In the questionnaire there are questions about, among other things, your background, lifestyle and health. You can also order the material by filling in the boxes at the top of the right side. Then you will receive the material and instructions sent by e-mail.

NB. Printer is required to print the questionnaire.

Finally, you can book an appointment to give a blood test, etc. on kanning.fargen.fo. When you show up to give a blood test, you must also submit the completed questionnaire and a declaration of consent, which you will receive. With your signature, you confirm that you have received information about the project and about your participation.
